Time To Trade Uncle Leo?

Listen, I love Leo Komarov. He's finally becoming an elite player in the league and not too mention he's the leading goal scorer for the the Maple Leafs. The most amazing part is he only gets paid $2.95M per season! Even the guys in the locker room acknowledge Komarov's success.

"When you think of our team, you say 'Who's the most competitive guy on the Leafs?' you'd say Leo," Babcock said before Monday's game against the Avalanche.

But because he's on such a high right now, should he be trade bait at the deadline in March? The fun part about if he gets traded, the Leafs fan should expect a good value trade in return. Maybe a 1st round pick straight up? In recent past, players always get traded for much higher than there value at the deadline. His scoring is above average, and although his advanced stat's aren't the greatest, they look good.

I'd hate to see Leo get traded...but hey that's the business and the Leafs are in a rebuilding season.
